Included in the World Dahlia Directory, I suspect that Purple Carnival was originally a sport from Hulin's Carnival. Very little information can be found online, but she was a lovely bloom in the garden. She was solid until the end of the season when she threw a few variegated petals. Sweet blooms that would be fun to grow side by side with Hulin's Carnival.
